Starting June 02nd 2008
Monday 10.15am - 11.15.
There will be an 8 week Continuation Course revising the first 12 movements of the Tai Chi for Arthritis form and covering the Reverse 12 movements. Cost £40. This is for the students who started in January, but will also be open to a few new students. It could be suitable for you if you have done a little Tai Chi before, and\or are able to follow moves easily.
(Note that if you are a complete beginner and have limited movement then you may be better waiting for the beginners class in September, but do ring and talk to me about it.
Monday 11.30am - 12.30.
This class is open to anyone who has completed the beginners course or has learned Tai Chi for Arthritis with another teacher. The class also includes Taiji QiGong 18 (Shibashi) and exercises from other Qigong sets.
This class is now half way through part 2 of the Tai Chi for Arthritis form (ie the extra 9 moves). There will be a further block of 6 weeks starting June 02nd.

Friday 10.00am - 11.00 am New Beginners class including Paul Lam's Tai Chi for Arthritis form.
The beginners course is for complete beginners and includes a very short Tai Chi form called “Tai Chi for Arthritis” (TCA) devised by Australian physician Dr Paul Lam. In addition, I include elements of Qigong - gentle exercises which include a focus on breathing and relaxation.
It is not necessary to have arthritis to enjoy the class! However, the class is most suitable for those who are either complete beginners in Tai Chi, or do not have high levels of fitness or flexibility, or those who have difficulty remembering sequences of movements. All students are encouraged to work within their own range of movement. Clothing should be loose and comfortable, with flat comfortable shoes or trainers.
Phone the number below or email if you would like to know more or think you might be interested in joining a class. I am happy to have a chat with you and discuss your own individual needs and I will also invite you to come to a class and find out if this is for you before asking for any money. Note that as with any form of exercise, any of you who are unsure if you are fit enough for the class will be advised to consult your GP. Call Terri on 01625 528609 or click here to send email
